Skrivanek is excited to announce attendance at Central Europe’s most important industrial fair, the International Engineering Fair in Brno, October 1-5, 2018. With 1,600 exhibitors (50% from outside the Czech Republic), and 80,000 visitors including hundreds of journalists, energy at the Brno Exhibition Center will be running high.
Industrial manufacturers from every imaginable field, including numerous companies involved with robotics, will fill the exhibition halls with displays. In addition, educational conferences, seminars and workshops will be hosted on technical, business and economic topics.
A highly unique event will take place between Monday and Friday as a robot over 3 meters high named Kuka will machine a replica of a famous Czech statue originally presented in 1928. Cutting edge 3-D technology makes it possible to bring the lost work of art back as spectators watch. This demonstration is one of numerous installations at the International Engineering Fair celebrating the history of regional technology.
